Sampled @ Mikkeller Beer Celebration 2017, Yellow Session. Schwarze Farbe. Geruch nach Kaffee, Vanille, dunkles kräftiges Malz. Geschmack ist sehr röstmalzig, süß schokoladig, Vanille, super.

0,05l from tap at MBCC yellow session shared with / by the crew.black color, small dark-coffee colored head. smells cocoa, chlorophyl, bit grassy, some berry notes. rather decent smell overall but not totally convincing. full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes sweet, molasses, earthy, some ash. finishes light to medium sweet with notes of molasses, earth and some ashy notes. okish, but not a favorite. 7, 4, 7, 3, 14

Tap mbcc, yellow. Pours black with a thin brown head. Malty, honey like aroma, mild fruity even. Ashy. Flavor has roastedness, coffee, salty notes, licorice, spicy notes. Long finish.

From tap. Pours hazy brown to black with a small brown head. Aroma is roasted malty, chocolate. Roasted, dense malty, roasted and chcoolate malty. Roasted and lingering dense malty finish. Light liqourice note.

Can - pours black tan head - nose/taste of thick fudgy chocolate, vanilla, roasty goodness and touch of oaky bourbon - full bodied

Can. Pours black with medium tan had leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is roasted malt, cocoa, wood, spice, espresso. Medium body, intense roast, dark chocolate, ash, wood, very bitter, boozy finish, enjoyed this.
