Tritium is a hydrogen-like substance, but much heavier due to two extra neutrons. A strong golden ale with a pilsner nucleus, rye and pink peppercorn spiciness, and a long finish due to its 7.5 % ABV, making it a much heavier affair.

Bottle at Catalyst Cafe, Holborn. 7.5%. Pours slightly hazy golden amber with a bubbly off-white head. Aroma of yeast, malt, bread, hop, rye, light spices and herbal/peppery notes. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness, touch of sour. Medium plus body, oily texture, average carbonation. Not bad but not the best tripel.

Very good. Rye and peppercorn give a nice little spicy finish.

Appearance- amber and fairly clear, a foamy off-white head of around one finger. Aroma- Belgian yeast, spices, orange hints, malt, fruit undertones. Taste- more fruit comes through- raspberry jam. Earthy malt undertones, cherry, sweet fruit, strawberry, sticky malt, slightly hoppy finish. Reasonably full-bodied.
