Tritium is a hydrogen-like substance, but much heavier due to two extra neutrons. A strong golden ale with a pilsner nucleus, rye and pink peppercorn spiciness, and a long finish due to its 7.5 % ABV, making it a much heavier affair.

330ml bottle [A big thanks to Maddie for the Tritium and the whole Solvay trio!]. Minimally cloudy, orangey, deep golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Sweet-ish, biscuity and minimally bready, malty, and yeasty fruity aroma with minimally floral and spicy overtones, notes of apricot, peach, orange, mandarine, a touch of chili and petals. Taste is dry, spicy, minimally soapy, pink peppercorn predominates underlying fruitiness and bready maltiness. Slightly unbalanced, overspiced, good basic beer though.

330ml bottle from the Brewdog Online Shop. Pours hazy golden with no real head. Aromas of light yeast esters and spice. Taste is light sweet, light peppery note, more esters. A little sticky on the finish.

Draught, 7.7 % abv, beer flight glass at Norwich Tap House. Low white head, dotted spots on the glass, cloudy golden body. Smell of perfumed bread and fruits. Bread and fruits to the taste buds supported by dark spices and with a orange shells to the ending. Rounded mouth feel. In fact, rather anonymous. (10.07.2017).

Bit unclear, deep golden colored, medium white head. Aroma is of brewing sugar, sweetish, bit caramel, fruity notes, some spicy Belgian yeast, bit alcohol. Taste is medium+ sweet malt and brewing sugar, some caramel and candy notes, some rye, bit fruity, spicy, Belgian yeasty, sweetish finish, some alcohol. Medium bodied, average carbonation. Sweet and sugary above everything else. (bottle, Utobeer, London)

Reminds me of what Kelly Ryan and Wild Beer Co did. Great example of the style.

Bottle split at Scopesters on melt day, picked up at the rew pube, 01/07/15. Murky orange amber with a decent light beige covering. Nose is yeasty, rotting banana, phenols, light varnish, wood, ripe fruit peel. Taste comprises yeast esters, vanilla, bitter orange, earthy, farmyard, light spice, peppery enclave. Medium + bodied, fine carbonation, suggestion of booze in the close. Ok if a little harsh in places but at least not the sweet mess this style can collapse into !

Bottle at Croydonia. It pours cloudy dirty gold with a medium white head. The nose is soft, doughy, brioche, pear, apple, melon, light spice, bread and apple pie. The taste is high alcohol boost up-front, spicy, doughy, peppercorn, pear, melon, minerals candy and icing sugar with a dry, warming finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. A touch rough around the edges. OK.

Tropical Croydonia Bottleshare. Gusher! Hazy amber beer, small pale cream colour head. Airy dry malts, very sweet. Sweet dried fruits. Tripel spice, skewed. Pepper spice. Pepper finish. Could not drink much of this.

Cloudy yellow color, tiny white head. Wet socks, grainy and fruity aroma. Wee. Medium-bodied. Sweetish, fruity kind of saisony without too much pepperness. Apricot and banana. Rye? No trace.
