A sturdy sleigh packed full of malt flavours, featuring spice, nuttiness and caramel, nicely balanced with a delicate hoppiness. Perfected over six generations of master brewers, this ale is a nod to a classic Ridley’s recipe.

500ml bottle. Clear, reddish brown colour with small, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Spicy, slightly perfumed and floral aroma, hints of coriander, spruce needles, petals, ginger, a touch of cinnamon and orange zest. Taste is minimally sweet caramel malty with a nuttily touch, cautious hints of cinnamon and nutmeg, a dry, close to soapy touch of ginger, floral overtones; super soft, smooth palate. Mild, not overspiced, unspectacular.
