Re-rate 2/2/16: Draught at Magnolia Gastropub and Brewery in San Francisco. Deep amber. Very spicy aroma with malt, caramel, toast. Sweet flavor, caramelly, spicy. Medium-bodied. Not my thing. 4/3/4/3/8=2.2
(10/30/08) Draught sample at the brewpub in San Francisco. Deep red, almost burgundy color, with an off-white head. Strong aroma of ginger, cinnamon notes and a bit of malt. Sweetish spicy flavor with ginger and some yeast notes. Light-bodied. Really not my cup of tea. Undrinkable for me. 5/4/3/2/7=2.1

Draft. Rich amber beer with little head. Citurs and herbs in the aroma, but also some sort of chemical smell. Citrus and honey flavors combined with a bit of earthiness. Honey aftertaste. Just not my thing.
