An easy-sipping, excessively hopped DIPA with a unique hop nectar flavor that will surely satisfy today’s hop-head. It pours slightly hazy with an orange color and an aroma of citrus and floral hops that will explode from the glass. The simple malt bill allows the hops to take center stage and it finishes with a soft bitterness.

Can to tulip.
Appearance: transparent bronzed color with a two and a half fingers of white foamy head which died off nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: pine to floral hops with a soft clean caramel/toffee malt backbone
Flavor: bittersweet with the pine more up front than the floral hops; clean aftertaste of the pine
Texture: medium bodied, good as a sipper; some piney hop astringency but I expected it and don't mind how this comes across; finishes clean with the piney and floral hops
Overall: very nicely done WC styled DIPA I would love to have again.

Pours hazy gold into a shaker. Bright white head with excellent retention recedes leaving solid sheets. Overripe tropical fruit skin aromas. Soft with hot caramel, overripe pineapple and pine front to back. Lasting earthy pith finish.

650 ml bottle paid $12.99 @ Candia Road Convenience store, Ouch! Maybe a tad pricy?? Hazy amber that provided spotty lace and head down the side of the snifter. Aroma is dominated by pine and floral hops with notes of sweet bread.

PINE bomb! Flavor is pine needles with caramel and toffee that what’s to come through and balance it. The malt is just simply over-powered by a blast of floral and pine hops. The body is medium with a semi oily with resin kick that lingers well after the sip. Bitterness is moderate to lightly aggressive depending on your hop tolerance or pleasure. And if you are going to hunt down this brew you need to have a love for piney hops. It did grow on me as I sipped it, nice.

On tap at Cask and Vine Slightly hazy medium golden color with a smallish off white head. Aromas of resin and pine in spades! Dank resinous hop aroma with plenty of caramel and sugary maltiness to back it up. The flavor as the aroma suggests is rather sugary sweet, but there is plenty of citrus pine and resinous hop flavor to counter that. Medium to thick body with a moderate level of carbonation. I really enjoyed the aroma on this one, but I felt the mouthfeel was a bit too syrupy sweet for my tastes. If I were the brewer I would add a bit of sugar to this to help dry it out a little as its pretty damn tasty otherwise.
