Bottiglia.

33 cl bottle from tosano. A dark amber color with losts of tiny bubbles coming up, massive thick and everlasting creamy foam, sticking everywhere, sediments in the bottle creates swirling cascades, wow. Not aggressive on the nose, it has some resin though. Flavors are hopcentric with a slack of burned malts and brown sugar in backround, also lots of yeast providing an earthy character. Burned sugars, wood, minerals or molten snow, bitter orange, lemon peel and tangerine, lots of grass and leaves. Flavors are funky, shroomy, kinda moldy giving a raw feel. Taste is bitter, and heavily bitter, loads of bittering hops here, though there's a faint attempt of malts to provide some sweetness in the beginning, promptly washed away, in the middle there's adecise citric acid tone. Body is thick, dusty yet fluffy texture, finish is short on the aromatic side but never ending for bitterness leftover. Heavy, alcoholic. Interesting, i bet it pairs well with raw grilled meat and hard rock, bang!

A very nice and quite uncompromisingly bitter double IPA. This was drunk with food like a glass of wine and it was all the better for it. The taste developed with bitter hops and smooth malt resulting in a nice mouthfeel.

Bottle at the Grapes, Falmouth, 25/04/16. Golden orange with a decent off White head. Nose is orange pith, light spice, bitter tropicana, earthy hop. Taste comprises singed grapefruit, big mineral undercurrent, dusty hops, lemon rind, orange peel, light pine. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close with an earthy hop dusting. Ok but lower end for the style, overly raw and minerally and lacking finesse.
