Named for its deep rich color, this American Amber/Irish Red ale is an “any day beer.” This taproom favorite pairs well with BBQ or pizza. It’s light enough to enjoy after a hard day’s work or when you’re just hanging out. No matter the occasion, it’s good to have a Rusty Farmer nearby.

On tap at Blend Bar & Bistro in Hamilton, NJ. Number one with a bullet. Tangy toasted malt aroma has bready notes. Flavor is toasted malt, tangy citrus and earthy grain. Herbal grassy notes in middle. Sweet caramel in finish. Decent flavor and balance.

At the source: dark amber with off white head. Aroma is sweet malts with very moderate hops. Taste is malty. A bit sweet. Low hoppiness. Relatively solid.
