This clean drinking, malt-forward red ale has strong notes of toffee and caramel. Though hop presence is minimal; bitterness, flavor, color, and aroma are balanced by the addition of roasted barley. Whether served with meat and potatoes or fish and chips, this beer drinks well.

Tropicana: amber with goood head. Caramel and malt in the nose. Malty but with the right amount of bland hops. Very solid Irish.

On tap at High Street Grill in Mount Holly, NJ. Dark amber color with a small beige head. Mild roasted malt aroma. Pleasant toasted malt flavor has notes of toffee and toasted nuts. Nice spicy hop balance. Some subtle notes of dried fruit as well. Very smooth and drinkable. More spicy hops in finish.

on tap-offwhite-hazy amber. A-roasty med malt-toffee. T-quite roasty, med malt-toffee, 2nd hops. Nice, roastier taste than nose gave away.
