This beer begins its journey as a rye pale ale. We then we take a walk next door to visit our awesome neighbor at Harry and Beans Coffee and grab some freshly roasted single origin organic Honduran coffee beans straight form the roaster and condition on them. What results is a stellar interaction of black coffee and rye flavor merging in harmony to create a magical and unique coffee/beer relationship worthy to carry the name of the coffee wizard himself.

From the Irish pub in Tropicana Atlantic City on tap: pours clear copper and a white head. Aroma is hints lf coffee but a rather faint aroma in general. Aroma is faint notes of coffee, but that is the main flavor. Pale ale backbone in general. Pleasant.

On tap at Goodnight Irene’s in Wildwood, NJ. Pours a dark gold color topped by a small creamy beige head. Nose is toasted malt and coffee. Flavor follows nose with added notes of sweet cream. Middle has a hint of earthy rye malt. Finish is spicy bitter hops and more coffee. Decent.
