A German classic, brewed with 100% beechwood smoked malt. Tastes like Black Forrest Ham in a glass (in a really good way). And wait till you try it with our our new smoked pork tacos. Holy smokes, batman – this beer is good!

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a clear gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has sweet grains and sweet smoke with a bit of brisket smoke supporting. Flavor has a sweet and oaky smoke with a nice light sweet grain backbone.

Draught at the source: pours deep gold with a white head. Aroma is very smoky and meaty. Taste is smoky but not super smoky. After a couple sips it is just a hint. Generally good, but could have been a bit more. Just a lightly smoked lager at the end.
