Bottle from Aldi, Carrick-on-Shannon [051116]
Straw colour, slight haze, frothy white head
Aroma of citrus fruit, grape, lemon, hint og gooseberry, fruity, no malt
Taste of tangy citrus fruit, soft citrus zest, some lemon, getting gooseberry, nice light pale malt background, quite hoppy, hops a bit unusual
Palate - Soft carb, light body, fairly bitter. Finish a bit dry, bitter gooseberry finish, cleans off palate
Overall - Good to have an Irish Pale Ale with a nice light malt base that alloes the hops to speak, unusual gooseberry notes
