Cask at the Wellington, Bingohame, 26/11/16. Light black with reddish hues at the base topped with an attractive khaki head. Nose is light roast, charr, chocolate, gentle spice. Taste comprises subtle coffee notes, dark fruit tingle, roast malt, biscuit. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with a light hop dusting. Ok porter.

Cask at Birmingham Beer Festival 2016; dark brown pour with a bubbly tan head, aroma has deep roast with some coffee, taste has dark fruits, dark roast.

Pitch black, creamy off white head, good lacing
Aroma of soft dark fruits, soft roast, not a big nose
Taste of soft dark malts, nice soft dark chocolate, no burnt roast, mellow roast
Palate - Medium body, quite rich. Finish as main flavour, dark chocolate, soft roast, nice sweet dark malts
Overall - Really nice dark malts in this
