Wermlands IPA (India Pale Ale) är en ljus ale med hög beska av amerikansk östkustkaraktär. Denna ale är välhumlad och bär tydliga toner av kavring med inslag av citrus och tallbarr och passar bra före maten.
I denna öl har vi använt humlesorterna Amarillo, Columbus och Simcoe.

Sample at SBWF 2015. Golden with a white head. Aroma and taste of light hops, malt, grapefruit and some berries. The finish was bitter. Drinkable but nothing special.

Draught at SB&WF 2015, on September 24, 2015.Clear golden color, small white head. A bit unclean, phenolic, grainy, alcohol scent. Bitter, grainy, pith taste. Pith, bitter aftertaste, grapefruit. Medium mouthfeel, high dry bitterness.

Pre GBBF tasting as Chris and Ruth’s. Lightly hazy gold beer, few white bubbles. Honeyish pale malts, fairly sweet. Floral sweetness. Ripe tropical fruits. Light semi dry finish. Sweet but tasty IPA, comes together well.

Bottle at Chris & Ruth’s pre GBBF shindig; burnished amber pour with a thin white head, aroma has peach with a hint of caramel, taste has lemon, a hint of peach some yeast action.

33 cl bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is toasted malty and breadish. Toasted, toffee like and light fruity. Dry, bitter and lingering fruity finish.

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy pale golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty weak spicy citrus hoppy aroma. Fruity malty weak hoppy citrus flavor. Has a fruity malty spicy weak citrus hoppy finish.

Appearance: Dark golden/amber colour with an off-white head.
Aroma: Perfume, floral.
Body: Medium body and carbonation.
Flavour: Perfume, some floral, rather bitter.
