The Hamburg Style Lager Prototyp was the first of a kind in Germany and turned into a „Prototype“ for a whole new Beerstyle in Germany. The unique and fruity flavor of the Prototyp is backed by dry-hopping the beer. After primary fermentation it is matured for seven weeks with two different aroma hops. The Prototyp is smooth and refreshing like a lager beer and has the fruitiness of a Pale Ale. Naturally - unfiltered and not pasteurized.

Ein tolles Bier. Es hat einen gute Spritzigkeit ohne langweilig zu werden. Dazu eine feine Hopfenwürze. Kann man immer wieder trinken.

Draft at Festivale der Bierkulturen, Cologne. Clear golden with a down with a white head. Aroma of citrus and fruity hops. Flavour is light to moderate sweet and moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

A golden pils a thick frothy lacing white head. In aroma, nice biscuit malt with German grassy hops, Saaz, very nice. In mouth, a nice pils with biscuit malt with grassy hops, light mineral notes, nice and smooth. Classic German goodness. Bottle at Mondial 2018.

Clear golden, rocky white head. Sweet, pale malt aroma, light citrusy and grassy hoppy notes. Fruity, malty flavour. Sweetish with sweet orange, mandarin. Clean and smooth.

Sampled draft. Thanks! Golden orange, solid white head. Nose is some dirty cooked cabbage, sweet, cooked vegetables. Taste is oily sweet sugar, strange vegetable, plastic, not very hoppy, oily body, disappointing.
