24/8/2018. Cask at the 41st Peterborough Beer Festival. Pours mahogany brown with a small bubbly beige head. Aroma of chocolate, malt, coffee, dark fruit and moderate roasting. Moderate sweetness and bitterness, with a slight sour edge. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation.

Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol 13/1/2018. Near black in colour, with a slight, off-white, head. Toasty malts, a tangy lactose edge, touch of fruit and moderately dry finish. Good.

Cask (gravity) @ NBF 2016 [ The 41th. Nottingham Beer Festival (The 9th Robin Hood Beer and Cider Festival) ], Nottingham Castle, Friar Lane, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England NG1 6EB. [ As Digfield Old Crow Porter ].Clear dark red brown colour with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, dark malt, roasted, light chocolate. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, dark malt, roasted, chocolate. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20161015] 7-3-7-3-14
