We are introducing our Lager School Series (Logger School? Get it?) with the California Common. This series will focus on various styles of lager and beers in the larger lager family (and thats where the California Common fits in!)
Dating back to the California gold rush, this beer was fermented using lager yeast at higher temperatures due to the lack of refrigeration/temperature control in the facilities.
Our interpretation of one of our favourite styles is a beer we are really proud of! Amber with beautiful malt notes and just enough bitterness to balance, with a foot in both the lager and ale worlds. Simply put, this beer is a beauty!

Tap @ the brewery. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are malt, notes of caramel, hops and little grass. Light bitter malty finish.
