Introducing Golden Stout Warriors - our first summer stout! A golden stout is a unique and intriguing style of beer that defies expectations. While stouts are traditionally known for their dark, almost black appearance and rich, roasted flavours, this golden stout challenges those preconceptions by presenting a golden colour while still maintaining some of the characteristic flavours of a stout.
To create the golden colour while maintaining stout-like flavours, we brewed this beer with a combination of Pale, Munich, and Abbey malts along with flaked oats. Fermented with our signature Kolsch yeast, then dry hopped with our own special Grand Banker Blend of coffee beans from Laughing Whale Coffee, along with vanilla beans and cacao nibs.
