Bottle, #100, at Bryggerifestivalen. Shared by Rune. It's a headless copper colored beer of the hazy kind. The aroma has caramel and brown sugar, alchol and some berries. Hints of dark chocolate and dried fruit. It's full-bodied and lightly warming, with a very soft carbonation. Sweet, with just a hint of bitterness. Toffee, caramel, brown sugar and some dried fruit and dark bread. Lasting finish. A decent Barley Wine, but a bit too gentle all the way, and I wouldn't mind a tad more carbonation. Rating: 6-3-6-4-14-3.3. 240801
Bottle, at E.C. Dahls. #300. A bit rough, but nice. Alcohol, dark dried fruit, booze, raisin. Sweet and full-bodied. 747415 250730

Poured from a bottle at Bryggerifestivalen 2024. Shared with yngwie and Bryne. Near clear amber body, declining beige head, poor lacing. Mid-sweet aromas of caramel and apricot, inviting. Powerful taste of dried fruits, biscuit, caramel malts, and bread. Lingering mid-sweet malty ending warming down the swallow. Full bodied. Nice slow sipper. Last beer on the first day at the festival.(Trondheim, 01.08.2024).
