Added alder/trout chips in the mash. Trout twigs were once used in traditional brewing as a sieve base, and are said to have given both colour, taste and aroma.

On tap at Bryggerifestivalen. An unclear one, orange-yellow-golden in color, topped by a white head leaving some lacing. The aroma is fruity and woody, with honey. It's medium bodied and nicely carbonated, with that same fruityness found in the aroma. Wood and honey in the back, some malty flavors too. Medium length finish. Well... quite dull, guess the attempt at a traditional method counted more than the drinking experience. 240801

Draught at Bryggerifestivalen 2024, kindly shared by yngwie. Hazy pale golden body, low white head, spotty lacing. Moderate smell of earthy malts. Malt-driven flavours joined by biscuit and herbal hops, earthy. Drying close. Fair enough. (Trondheim, 01.08.2024).
