500mL bottle, pours black, almost no head. Aroma is full of fresh cinnamon bark and a nice, gentle bourbon barrel presence. Flavour is surprisingly not sweet; the sugars are fermented out a lot, the cinnamon bark is prominent and seems to have dried things outs, and the bourbon barrels add just a gentle layer of complexity. Cinnamon bomb that finishes malty and dry. Good, but shy of excellent.

Poured from 500mL bottle. Black with almost no off white head. Cinnamon aroma, more cinnamon forward, mild bourbon barrel and vanilla smoothes things out in the background. Enjoyable.

Rated at The Side Project Cellar. Spicy, sweet and slightly roasty with some hints of bourbon. A bit unbalanced.

2.5oz. Served by a kind military gentleman. Appearance: dark brown with a tan head. Aroma: chocolate, American oak, cinnamon, and somehow pistachios-like notes (looks like an interesting mix of vanilla and cinnamon). Taste: along the same lines, more on the pistachios and cinnamon side, quite smooth. Overall: good one.
