Pours a clear dark amber colour with a small loose off white head. Aroma is malty, some toffee and a little smoke. Moderately sweet taste, caramel, malts with some wood and smoke in a long finish.

tried at the Nottingham Beer Festival 2017. Chestnut brown colour with a tan head. Aroma toffee only light smoke. taste slightly sweet. Light body

Cask (handpump) @ Olde Trip To Jerusalem, 1 Brewhouse Yard, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England NG1 6AD. [ As Pheasantry Smokin ].Clear medium to dark amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, dark malt, wood, smoke notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, wood, caramel, dark malt, smoked notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. Cask at the Guildford arms. Pours deep brown, nose is light toffee, not much else, taste is sweet, dry toffee, caramel, smallest hint of smoke.
