The Niagara Region is world-famous for its production of ice wine and our Niagara Icewine Beer is brewed in the spirit of this long-standing winter tradition. It will be available on December 1st to buy in 375ml and 750ml bottles, and to enjoy on tap at the brewery.
Ice wine is a sweet and delicious dessert wine produced from grapes that have frozen while still on the vine, and Canada is the world’s largest producer. Ontario and the Niagara Peninsula in particular, produce most of the country’s ice wine because the area possesses an ideal winter climate, as temperatures have to hit at least -8°C after the grapes ripen.
Beer and wine lovers alike will enjoy this one-of-a-kind seasonal brew and bottles of Niagara Icewine Beer will also make for some great gift-giving during the holidays. Stop by on December 1st to try this year’s much-anticipated batch of Niagara Icewine Beer and come visit us at our brewery on Clifton Hill to warm up and enjoy some other great brews, food, and entertainment just steps from the beautiful Niagara Falls.
Our Niagara Icewine Beer available for a limited time starting December 1st.

750ml bottle. Pour a clear gold, with a medium white head thta dissipates quickly, and then it looks exactly like a glass of white wine. Aroma is all dry white wine, with some soft sweetness and light bready malts. Flavour is very vinous, semi sweet and dry. Malty finish, stone fruit white wine, this is odd. A white wine, with some subtle sweetness and the malts from an imperial pils. Not sure this works.

Rosé version. Along the line he’s of a grape ale - a little drier than an ice wine, but similar character.

Tap at brewpub. Clear golden colour no head. Aroma has green apple and honey. Light-bodied. White dessert wineous. Easy. Hides abv. Apple and honey. Not a beer.
