On tap at Teardrop. Pours black with small tan head that lasts. The aroma is vanilla, cherry cola, cocoa powder, roast. Slick body, cocoa, roast, vanilla, light dry finish, hides alcohol well, very nice.

Keg at the Tear Drop, Oxford covered market, 20/04/22. Black with a good sized lasting tan head. Nose is dark malts, spice, charr, roast malts, toffee, vanilla. Taste comprises dark malts, light charr, spice, cocoa powder, toffee, roasted bite. Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light spike of alcohol. Decent straight up old skool impy.

Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - opaque black with thin tan to fawn head. Nose - dark chocolate and an edge of raisin. Taste - really intense dark chocolate and raisin again. Palate - medium to full bodied, sweet but dry at the time. Great persistence. Overall - lovely traditional imperial.
