Cask at 31st Pig’s Ear beer & cider festival 2014, Hackney, London. A dark brown/black coloured pour with a thin beige head on top. Roasty, chocolate aroma. Tastes roasty, milk chocolate, slightly sweet, rather thin tasting but OK stuff.

Gravity dispense at Pigs Ear ’14, day 1, 02/12/14. Opaque mahogany brown with a decent khaki covering. Nose is light roast, dark fruits, cocoa rub, raisens. Taste comprises earthy roast, dark fruit notes, toffee, raisenes, milk chocolate hobnobs. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close. Ok stout.
