750ml bottle from Hartington Cheese Shop - Jet black, no head. Thick liquorice and blackcurrant syrupy sweetness, warm burn, slightly eased with a vanilla hint.

Cask at the Pup & Duckling 9th Birthday beer festival, Solihull. Poured almost black in colour with a lasting frothy off-white head. The aroma is roasted malt, earthy. The flavour is strong liquorice bitter, with a smooth, rich, roasty, boozy liquorice bitter palate. Medium to full bodied with soft carbonation.

Panda pop at home. Pours black, nose is chocolate, roasted, liquorice, taste is similar, some vanilla.

Growler fill from the Low Cost Beer online shop. Pours oily black with a thin tan head. Aromas of light chocolate and dark fruit. Taste is quite boozy chocolate milk. Light on the vanilla, but not bad.
