Poured into a pilsener glass, the appearance was a soft hazy burnt yellow with a sly transparency about it. Carbonation could be seen rising at a moderate pace to fill a one finger white foamy rocky head that sustained for a good minute. Delicate lace clung nicely.
The aroma starts off with some honey-ed sweet biscuits rolling into some sweet grassy notes.
The flavor takes the previously mentioned aromas to boot and slide into the aftertaste with a sweet wet finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a crisp sweet semi-refreshing sessionability about it. Carbonation rides light in the feel. Semi-sticky smooth to the touch on my tongue.
Overall, nice German pilsener, pass me some bratwurst while I put on my lederhosen and want more of this. I’d have definitely have again.

Can. Hazy light gold with a tall white head. The aroma is lightly sweet and spicy. The flavor balances light bitterness with just enough sweetness. Lightly bitter finish.

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy yellow color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty grainy weak grassy hoppy aroma. Fruity malty grainy grassy flavor. Has a fruity malty grainy grassy finish.

Clear, with a bit of a chill haze, initially. Soft, muted yellow-golden with a moderate amount of well-retained white head.
Heavily, heavily floral nose is quite enjoyably fragrant and allows just a pinch of lime-tangerine, as well. Very sparsely malted, as it should be, adding just slight cracker-like grains and maybe a touch of heathery-honey character. Clean and hoppy, though it doesn’t smell like any saaz I’ve ever smelled. Seems like something more going on here.
In the flavor, it’s heavily given over to the floral hop notes. Very light lavender suggestions, with a touch of mint and lemon. Sort of like the headiness of Prima Pils before that one got all resinous and aggressive. Very nicely attenuated, though still a fair amount of body to it. Ample carbonation. Maybe a bit heavy on the dry, floral character, but still quite drinkable and clean.

Bottle at home for patriots game. Surprised I haven’t had this before I think I always assumed I did o didn’t pick up. Fine cloudy pale yellow with white head. Nose is faint grass and yeast. Tastes of grass, bready, light lemon citrus, corn, yeast, some light pepper. Fine crisp palate. Very crushable.

Pours a slightly hazy yellow from a bottle, some white head, retains, very fizzy. Aroma of some lemon, grassy biscuit. Nice saaz spiciness, with some good malt characteristics and a faint lemon aspect. Good beer.

Bottle. Lactic barley malt and light rubber aroma. Pale yellow with giant white head and mild effervescence. Lightly sweet lemon barley malt and moderately bitter herbal flavor. Okay.

Bottle into a chalice. Best by 08/25/2015 A: Deep dirty yellow. Maybe some chill haze. Half finger of tight white head. decent retention and leggy lacing S: Biscuit/half baked bread dough with herbal/floral hops. T: Sharp maltiness with herbal hops note almost all at once. Doughy malt flavor is most pronounced. Slight grain taste. Hops come in shortly after and linger on the dry finish. Very nice subtle balance M: Nice and not quite as light as I expected. Average but nice enjoyable level of carbonation feels good on the lips. Nice clean, dry, pleasant finish. O: I like this beer for its subtlety and good adherance to style. Looks, smells and tastes great without going over the top. One of my favorite pilsners.

12oz bottle. Hazy bright yellow body...unfiltered..not what I would expect from the style. Creamy, soapy respectable white head, patchy after a minute or two. Pretty clean, straightforward aroma, some nice clean noble hops, not so much spicy as fresh and zesty. An awesome Pils, this is the real deal. Well expressed hop flavor and solid malt ingredients coupled with solid execution make this a pretty great example of the style. Well done, the lack of filtration gives it a fuller body, depth.
