Miles, Brooklyn tap ($6): Pours straw with a white head. Aroma is light hints of grass, bready malts, some German hops. This is a very mellow pilsner. Not too much in the way of bitterness, but plenty in malt complexity. The beer shines especially in terms of drinkability and subtlety. Not overstated, but excellently balanced. Quite nice.

12 ounce bottle. Pale yellow gold color. Big fluffy white head. Pleasant light grain nose has hints of grass and citrus hops. Dry malt flavor is light in body and depth. Tasty, yet lacking. Could use a bit more maltiness. Finish is dry and lemony.

Sample at 1808 American Bistro. Pours a slightly hazy yellow color with a thin white head that dissipates gradually. Spotty lacing. Aroma of toasted malt and hops. Light-bodied with flavors of grassy hops and malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a floral hops aftertaste. Decent overall.

Bottle @ home, courtesy of a neato trader. Thanks! Pours a fairly clear yellow appearance with a white head. Fairly dry pils grainy malty, noble floral hoppy, basic but good aroma. Just a bit sweet malty, lemon, vanilla, pils malty flavor that finishes moderately dry with some herbal/floral hoppy elements. Solid.

Hazy golden coloured body with an orange glow and a non-existant white head. Aroma of pale malt, hay, grass, herbs, metal and a hint of deep earth - interesting and strong. Light-bodied; Sharp grassy and herbal flavours dominate with a lot of hay and a touch of lemons with a hint of earth - fairly nice with dry and airy elements throughout. Aftertaste is well-rounded with some of the earthy malt, a hint of the lemons and a lot of dry, herbal, grassy characteristics that you’d expect from the style. Overall, a nice pils with more of a grassy and herbal note than most, but a good flavour profile while remaining very light-bodied - perfect for the heat of late summer. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from New Beer Distributors in New York, New York on 13-July-2013 for US$2.25 sampled at home in Washington on 26-August-2013.

Pours pale yellow color with white head. Floral hop and grainy aromas. Grassy hop flavor with cereal grains. Light to medium body with lively carbonation.

I bought this before realizing it was past the best by date - thankfully, this seems to have held up very well - lightly hazy gold - effervescent body - nose has a moderate mineral bite, clean, crisp pils malt, lightly grassy hops - full, frothy texture in the mouth - flavor is medium dry, fairly crisp, with mild mineral dryness - grassy bitterness late - light, clean pils malt sweetness before a quick, crisp, mildly bitter finish - pretty nice.

Grassy nose, some skunk. Milky yellow, no head. Grainy and grassy flavor. Fizzy yet quaffable. Well made pils, flavorful, but not heavy.

Aroma: The nose has some pilsener malts, grass, citrus notes, a little straw, and some light spice
Appearance: It pours a clear yellow-gold color with a fizzy white head and light-medium lace
Flavor: The flavor is not very sweet, there's a plus grassy bitter component and some spice too
Palate: Medium bodied, though it feels fuller considering the style, with a lively carbonation, and a dry finish
Overall Impression: This is a pretty interesting one. The nose made me think I was getting a fairly typical pilsener, but this was actual a quite dry example of the style. I wouldn't call this an amazing beer, but I found it to be pretty enjoyable.
