Taking inspiration from the classic Belgian raspberry beer, we are thrilled to bring you our second iteration of Framboise. For this version, we had the opportunity to use beautiful, biodynamically-grown raspberries from our next-door neighbors at King Estate Winery. You’ve probably heard us say it a million times, but fruit quality matters (a lot!) and we couldn’t be more pleased with the expression of fruit we are getting from these incredible berries. Shining over a subtle blend of oak-aged golden sour beer, the fruit imparts a stunning magenta color, with matching jammy aromas and flavors that give way to a tart and refreshing beer.

Bottle thanks to cgarvieuk. Appearance - cloudy orange with a hint of red. Thin off white head. Nose - tart raspberry, dank and funk. Taste - tart raspberry and light citrus. Palate - light bodied, zesty dry finish, good persistent finish. Overall - good.

Bottle thanks to cgarvieuk. Pours murky red gold with a thin white head. Aromas of funky oak and raspberry. Taste is sour, bretty funk, raspberry, oak again. Bretty funk finish.
