A sunshine coloured pale ale. It balances a crisp taste with a delicate lasting happiness of citrus fruits.

Cask at the Watford Beer Festival 2013. Poured a clear, very pale golden colour with a halo of white head. Sulphureous aroma with some buried floral hops and stewed fruit. Flavours of sharp lemon rind, grass and copper. Watery palate with some dry grain and light funk.

Aroma: Unusual, musty smell of yeast, lemon, soap and, rather unpleasantly, urine.

Appearance: Clear, golden body with small white head that slowly fades. No visible carbonation. Excellent lacing.

Taste: Soft lemony taste. Gentle bitter finish. Very easy drinking.

Palate: Medium body with a slightly oily mouthfeel. Flat carbonation.

Overall: Light, soft and easy drinking.

On tap @ Alexanders, the Pub, Kendal. Pours a hazy golden colour with a nicely proportioned head. It looks in terrific condition in fact. The nose has fresh citrus, somewhere between pineapple and lemon. The taste has more of the citrus but also the earthy and yeasty notes expected from the cask conditioning. The palate is medium bodied with a big tangy texture in the middle and a long refreshing finish. Overall, this was so easy to drink that the sides were completely covered in lace - always a good sign.
