Cask at the Weighbridge, Burton-on-Trent. Pours clear golden with a thin white head. Aromas of malt loaf and candied peel. Taste has some herbal bitterness and digestive biscuit. Clean finish.

26/1/2024. Cask at The Dove Street Inn, Ipswich. Pours clear amber with a small frothy white head. Aroma is stewed fruits, malt, candy sugar, vinegar, straw. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness, light sourness. Moderate body, average to soft carbonation. Not sure this was as the brewer intended.
