Cask at the Devonshire Arms, Burton-on-Trent. Pours clear golden with a thin white head. Aromas of light malt and lemon. Taste is more of the same. Light sweet finish.

Cask at Hourglass, Tutbury (not listed in RB). Pours a slightly hazy lemon yellow with a small off-white head and good lacing. Floral hops to the fore in the aroma plus some hints of corn. In the mouth it is sweet, zesty and with a hint of sharpness. Flavour is mainly berry fruits (raspberries in particular) plus traces of ginger and tropical fruits. Finish is quite dry and slightly bitter. This is eminently reasonable – light and refreshing.
