A fresh, vibrant Saison fermented with wild yeast and matured for 24 months before being infused with fresh elderflower, picked in season from the tree by the brewery door.

Bright golden with a light haze and white foam, the aroma is full of fresh elderflower - perfume-floral and woodsy - with a farmhouse funk edge. Dry and crisp with an appetising tartness that emphasises notes of sherbert fruits, bubblegum and scrumpy cider apples.

Big bottle from Appellation Wines. Appearance - golden and fairly clear. Thin white head. Nose - elderflower, nettles and generally sour. Taste - more elderflower, a skoosh of lime and some green apple. Some underlying breadiness. Palate - medium bodied, long, lightly tart and dry finish. Overall - lovely, getting into Bretted Saison here.
