Craftsman is our Chocolate oatmeal stout. To brew it we add a proportion of organic oatmeal to the mash for a velvety smooth mouthfeel. and plenty of dark roasted coca nibs to the mash, boil and fermentor. The result is a rich, intense stout with notes of dark chocolate that gradually gives way to a subtle hop finish. With malt, coffee and chocolate flavours, Craftsman pairs well with any dessert, or match it with hearty fare such as venison and beef.

Bottle shared during RBWG 2015 - on the bus. Cheers! Pours deep brown with a big, beige froth head. Lots of dry, burnt wood defines this one, with moderate roast, chocolate and dark, dried fruits. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Dry and roasty on the finish. Very decent.

Brewdog Clapham. Keg. Opaque dark brown beer, small pale tan head. Palate is smooth with decent fine carbonation. Smooth dark malts, no roast bitterness. Mellow dark chocolate, the ~ 60% cocoa. Mellow coffee. Light crisp, mild esters linger on. Nice milk stout!

Bottle, RBWG 2015 bus beer. GUSHER! Brown color, massive tan head. Aroma of chocolate, coffee. Taste is cola, root beer, cocoa. Not bad, but hi carbonation interferes with the flavor a bit.
