Cockleroi is our Best Bitter; a traditional session ale. Classic English hops (Fuggles and East Kent Goldings) give a clean bitterness and earthy, floral hop notes, which balances perfectly against deeper malt flavours of caramel and biscuit.
Named after the prominent hill that keeps watch over Linlithgow, Cockleroi (pronouced Cockle-roy) is a deliciously drinkable ale.

10/10/2024. Cask at Nottingham Beer & Cider Festival 2024. Pours unclear amber bronze with a small bubbly frothy off-white head. Aroma is malty, sponge cake, biscuit, white chocolate, flowers, veg. Moderate sweetness, bitterness and body. Slightly watery, light spritzy carbonation. Has white stout notes. Wasn't great. Also 9/1/2026. Can bought direct from the brewery. See photo.
