At Beer Camp, no beer style is off limits, so we jumped at the idea of doing a Golden IPA using wheat malt for a light, dry body and bold American and experimental hops for intense citrus flavor. 12 oz bottle from Half Time. Pours an unclear yellow, thin had, light, spotty lace. Aroma is light, with grassy and citrus notes. Taste is more pronounced and much more citrusy. Solid mouthfeel. Maybe a little thin, but solid. Not a bad beer, but nothing too exciting.

Hazed pale golden color with a fine white head. Ok intensity in the aroma. Medium body and an average carbonation level. Ok balance between sweetness versus bitterness. Semi dry ending. Mild citric, some pine, mild fruity and herbal flavor. Mild easy drinkable ale.

Tap@Taphouse, Copenhagen - Almost clear golden yellow pour with white ringed head. Fruity aroma and taste with a nice cross section of citrus and tropical fruits, grapefruit, orange, some lemony hop notes, piney hoppy bitter finish. Refreshing.

Draft. A hazy yellow beer with a lazing white head. The aroma has notes of lemons, straw, hops, and malt. The flavor is straw, malt, hops, and lemons, leading to a bitter finish.

Pale golden, slightly hazy, thick head. Aroma of mango and yeast, also grapefruit. All also appear in the taste. Fresh, lingering bitterness.

Bottled:
Hazy golden colour. Large, fluffy head. Aroma is dough, grass and citrus. Flavor is grass, lemons and grapefruit.
Rather boring.

Draft @ Sierra Nevada Torpedo Room, Berkeley, CA. Pours a golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty citrus hoppy aroma. Fruity malty citrus hoppy peachy flavor. Has a fruity malty fruity malty weak peachy hoppy bitter citrus finish.

Bottled, from Systembolaget. Hazy golden, rich head. Rich aroma of pears elderflowers and grapefruit. Mid dry with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. White bread, pears and citrus. MId bitter finish. Elegant and refreshing.

Pale yellow. No head. Good mouthfeel. Really creamy. Light aroma mostly due to their tasters. The bitterness. Is intense. Dry oranges, pine bark. Almost resinous.
