Classic english style beer, characterized by a lasting bitter and a spicy and fruity flavour. There is a strong call to anglo saxon amber red craft beers, with some references to the british atmosphere of Donizetti opera and to Lucia as well, crazy of love and sadness.

Bottle 330ml. @ [ Post-PBF Lost-Box Hotel Room tasting ] - oh6gdx room, Helsinki, Finland. [ As San Michele Lucia di Lammermoor ].Murky medium amber colour with a huge, frothy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, caramel, moderate hoppy, fruity hops, moderate yeasty, fruity yeast, dusty. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a long duration, fruity hops, fruity yeast, dusty, caramel, sweet malt, dried fruit, light bread - wood. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20170406] 6-3-7-3-13

Bottled@Post-PBF Lost-Box Hotel Room tasting. Hazy amber colour, small white head. Aroma is floral, wooden, some fruity and mild earthy notes. Flavour is fruity, floral, wooden and some earthy notes.

33cl bottle @ the lost box tasting @hotel room, Helsinki. Poured murky brown color with a thick white off white head. Aroma has bread, yeast, mild spices, molasses. Syrupy, bready, rye notes. Short finish.

Bottiglia @ Simei 2015, Milano. Il gusto al naso fa riferimento al pane e al cuoio. L’intensità olfattiva è elevata e la persistenza olfattiva è discreta. Il cappello di schiuma ha una discreta resistenza ed è a bollicine fini, come pure quelle della frizzantezza sottostante. La consistenza del liquido è velata, di colore ambrato carico. Il corpo è strutturato. L’amaro è deciso, con traccia di umami. L’intensità gustativa è elevata e la persistenza gustativa è buona. Le sensazioni boccali finali sono luppolate e anche etiliche.
