Dark amber colour. Rich malts (aroma and flavour), light fruitiness, dates and prunes; it has low bitterness level, some barrel, some alcohol.
Enjoyable sweet beer.

330mL bottle, pours a deep dark chestnut brown with a medium beige head. Aroma brings out toffee, toasted caramel, toasted nuts, and some dar. Flavour is similar, with rich caramel, dark dried fruits, bready notes and toffee. There's a hint of tartness from the fruits. Drinks like a barley wine. Excellent.

330 ml bottle. Pours a dark mahogany with moderate head. Aromas of dark fruit, orange, caramel, candi sugary and sweet doughy malts. Flavors follow same with additional orange peel, dry oak and subtle sweet bourbon. Good now, but I think will get better with age as the sugars get more attenuated

F: thin, tan, quick gone. C: amber to coppery, bit hazy. A: malty, caramel, bit citrus, fruity, woody, bit vinous. T: malty backbone, caramel, citrus, mellow fruity, bit woody, medium to full body, medium carbonation, ok for the style, enjoyed, good balanced, sample from 33cl bottle @ RBBSG 10/2018.

Thank you Rubin77. 355 ml. bottle sampled @ RBBSG 2018. Amber orange. Nose is sweet orange peel, dark fruit, candy & low metallic. Taste is sweet cough syrup, candy, basic sweet, dark fruit, decent but lacks complexity or proper barrel profile & touch metallic, decent & pleasant still.

Sampled from bottle @ late RBBSG. Clear amber color, average sized beige head. Aroma is quite faint, don't get much. Might be me though. Flavor is malts, biscuity malts, sweet notes, red wine notes, tannins lightly. Decent to medium body, average carbonation. Ok.

Bottle. Nose is bourbon, booze, cherry, cough medicine, bread, cherry cola, brown sugar., red wine. Taste is very sweet, rich red wine, leading to almond, marzipan, brown sugar, cherry, dough, cherry drops, cola, apple, vanilla, cream., strawberry, tannin, fruit cakes, vanilla sponge, stone fruit, pear drops. There is a lot going on, and it's too sweet, with too many things going on, but propriety be dammed, I really enjoyed it.
