Bottle@Taphouse Tuesday Bottle Share, Copenhagen - Golden pour with puffy white head. Aroma and taste is toasty smoked malty, some weird veg notes, some burned straw, rubber, not getting on well with this.

330ml bottle. Cloudy golden colour with huge, firm, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Leafy, black and green tea aroma, a floral touch of Earl Grey, slightly fruity background with hints of peach, some yeasty spiciness. Taste is floral hoppy, moderately sweet pale malty basis, leafy hints of green and black tea, Earl Grey, hints of peach, a spicy yeasty touch; prickling carbonation. More floral than smoky - interesting stuff.

Bottle shared in London - picked up in town somewhere. Pours clear orange-gold with a frothy white head. The nose holds dry smoke, herbs, lemon peel. Light-medium sweet flavor with hints of green pepper, dry smoke, biscuits, faint grass. Light bodied with average to lively carbonation. Finishes with more green pepper, rindy citrus, faint lemon, grass. Novel. Not bad.

Bottle split at the Bespin cloud network, thanks to Lando himself, 21/01/16. Hazed golden orange with a well appointed off white covering that retains well. Nose is floral, light apricot, herbal notes, spice, herbal tea, mandarin. Taste comprises light smoke, flora and fauna, apricot jam, jasmine tea, subtle smoked tea leaves, fruit punch. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok.

Bottle. Golden beer with a good head. The aroma is tea like with some maltiness. The flavour is gently bitter with some dryness and hops mixed with tea. Overall a reasonable beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Hazy amber beer, good pale cream colour head. Palate is airy, dry and mildly crisp. Light white smoke, tea nicely balanced with it. Brought alive by a zippy floral lemon, bergamot maybe. Light finish. Modest bitter linger. Interesting and drinkable.

Cask at the Union Bar, Imperial College. This divided opinion amongst my friends, many finding it too sharp or sour, and not liking the smoke and infused tea - but I found it quite unusual and an interesting change from the average golden ale. It was a slightly hazy pour; with some gentle smoke on the nose; quite a sharp fruity taste mingling with the tea and light smoke; and a dry finish.
