Birthday Brew #1 - Brewed to commemorate our first birthday in 2011. Birthday Brew #1 is a double IPA with a solid malt backbone from maris otter. American Pale & Hadley wheat malts. Piney citrus aroma. Full mouth feel with smooth hop bitterness. Amarillo & Glacier hop extracts combined with eight different hops. After taste of juicy hop bitterness, light tropical citrus zest.

A golden double IPA with a thin lacing creamy off white head. In aroma, a smooth floral hops, lightly resinous, with light alcohol. In mouth, a smooth sweet malt wit restrained floral hops, oily mouthfeel, pink grapefruits, alcohol warmth, not bad. On tap at Meadhall, Oct. 10 2011.
