Bottle. Pours brown with a small offwhite head. Aromas of smoke, caramel malts, hops, biscuits. Taste has hops, light bready malts, smoke, metal.

330ml bottle. Hazy, darkest brwon colour with average to huge, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, beige to tan head. Rather weak, roasty, dark malty aroma, hints of cocoa, a fruity touch of red currant. Taste is dry, roasty dark malty, slightly watery, hints of cocoa; watery texture, crumbly palate; overcarbonated.

Buddel: Very deep amber coloured, presumably clear, quickly vanishing loose tanned head, dry toasty bitter nose with distinctive traces of cacao and a tinge of vanilla; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied, quite soft; mildly lingering dryish bitter-chocolatey finish with fruity and toasty traces. A bit thin, but all in all quite well quaffable...

Im Alten Mädchen vom Fass, optisch einwandfrei. In der Nase deutlich Röstmalz. Im Trunk Kaffee und Kakao, süffig, nicht zu krachig, lecker wenn auch eher leicht.

Clear dark dark brown colour with a large, frothy and speaking, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, dark chocolate, cacao, vanilla. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, vanilla, chocolate, dark malt, sweet malt, light artificial chocolate. 33 cl bottle. Pours dark brown, deep orange glare with a small brown head. Aroma is roasted malty and slight breadish malty. Dry, roasted, bitter and dsrk malty. Dry and herbal hoppy finish.

0,33 l bottle. New label, listed with 4.8 abv, now called chocolate stout, same bar code. Black in the glass, more than one finger head.Coffee, fruity and chocolate on the nose. Taste starts not very complex, some sweetness. Little bit fruity and mid chocolate. Expected a little bit more deepness.
