Bursting with bold tropical flavours of grapefruit, passion fruit, apricot and peach, this unfiltered IPA, which takes its inspiration from the New England IPA style, is an attack on the senses. A carefully chosen hop blend provides an intense citrus aroma while adding a well-balanced yet mild bitterness. Malts are combined to deliver a smooth mouthfeel.

0.5 l bottle from Vrutak, Zagreb. Shared with Marko. Thanks! Hazy orange or golden, medium off-white head, diminishing. Lightly hoppy, floral, citrus, zest, peach. Not really tropical. No bitterness. Medium body, moderate carbonation, fruity finish. Peach present in the finish.

Unclear, golden colored, medium white head. Aroma is of some malt, caramel, some fruity candy and citrusy notes. Taste is medium sweet malt, caramel, citrusy and fruity hops, light to medium aroma, medium bitterness, dry finish. Medium bodied, soft carbonation. Hoppy aroma is too subdued for an IPA and not nearly as juicy or tropical to compete with most NEIPAs. (on tap, Scout Club Irish Pub, Samobor)

6% alk. Točena u Hollywoodu. Ne čini se tako da ima % alk, nego manje. Ali mi se čini i da ima manje hmelja. Nije toliko mirišljava i gorka kao neke ostale Oharas IPA-e. Može proći, ali nije mi nešto specijalno.

On tap at Hollywood Cafe Karlovac. Golden coloured, medium sized white to off-white head, mild citrusy nose. Moderate malty, citrusy hoppy, light herbal notes and touch of caramel with moderate bitterness. Bitter finish. Not bad at all.

[ As Carlow O’Hara’s 51st State IPA ].Clear medium yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, caramel, sweet malt, moderate hoppy, citrus, fruity hops, light pine. Flavor is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter with a long duration, sweet malt, fruity malt, fruity hops, citrus. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20170519] 7-3-7-3-14
