Bursting with bold tropical flavours of grapefruit, passion fruit, apricot and peach, this unfiltered IPA, which takes its inspiration from the New England IPA style, is an attack on the senses. A carefully chosen hop blend provides an intense citrus aroma while adding a well-balanced yet mild bitterness. Malts are combined to deliver a smooth mouthfeel.

Bottle from Spar, Athlone [240517]
Dark amber, off white head
Aroma of herbal hops, little citrus, odd dried herbs like old basil
Taste of soft citrus, not getting passion fruit, apricot or peach at all as it says on the label, maybe a hint of grapefruit, more of a bitter herbal hop I’m not keen on, light caramel malt background, poor flavour
Palate - Medium carb and body, fairly bitter, hint of alcohol. Finish has a bitter herbal hop linger
Overall - I’m not liking the hop flavours in this, certainly not citrus fruits. Not a fan at all. Most of it thrown out.
