Strata, Idaho 7 and Citra hops have been combined to create a beer that demonstrates the different but complementary facets that individual hops bring to a beer.
This series of hops lend themselves well to a citrus profile, presenting zesty and slightly herbal elements. Three of a Kind is a harmonious, smooth and well-balanced Pale Ale that presents tasting notes of pink grapefruit, orange blossom and mandarin.

Citrus and tropical fruity across a medium sweet pale malty base, very dry with a thin mouthfeel and body, touch of citrus peel, grassy hops, bitter and dry finish. Pretty basic.

28/4/2023. Can shared by ITFCDan, from Hopsters Ipswich. Pours hazy pale orange gold with a small frothy off white head. Aroma of juicy tropical fruits, citrus, orange, rubber, pine. Moderate sweetness and medium to heavy bitterness. Moderate body, slightly watery, average carbonation.

Can at home, thanks to the Wingmane for hooking me up, 08/03/23. Hazed orange with a decent off white head. Nose is orange zest, melon, stoned fruits, grass, pine nip. Taste comprises orange pith, ripe tropical fruit esters, melon, pine needle, dank spike. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spliced with grassy come lightly dankened hop bitterness. Solid flavoursome pale for the meagre ABV.

Keg at 73 Enid Street. A translucent golden orange coloured pour with a loose white head. Aroma is dry wheat, flaked grains., piney hop, orange rind, pencil shavings. Flavour is composed of semi crisp, earthy grains, bready, grass, pencil shavings. Light pine. Palate is semi crisp highish carbonation. Not bad.

On tap at 73 Enid St. Pours hazed gold with a decent white head. Aroma is grapefruit, orange zest, some light herbal notes, a little caramel, biscuit. Taste is grapefruit, orange, biscuit malt, some herbal notes. A dry bitter finish with some fresh citrus and caramel coming through. Lightly spritz carbonation. Solid APA
