275ml clear bottle from the brewery, shared with Jeremy at his place. Pours a clear chestnut brown, off-white head. Aged toffee and caramel aroma. Flavour profile is reliant largely on malty sweet caramel with some dried dark fruit notes emerging. Has a weak barley wine feel. Ok.

10th April 2024, mega Panda and tasting session with minutemat at my place. Mat brought this along, a clear 275ml bottle from the brewery. Clean and clear chestnut red body, weak off-white wispy head. Malty caramel front, sweet and 'figgy'. Liked it!

275ml bottle [courtesy of Grumbo - thanks a lot for enabling another hard to reach Rutland tick!]. Opalescent, reddish, chestnut colour with small to average, frothy to creamy, diminishing, minimally lacing, off-white to beige head. Sweet-ish, caramel malty and yeasty fruity as well as fruity hoppy aroma, notes of dried fruit, raisin, plum, fig, date, some honey, some toffee. Taste is sweet, minimally starchy, caramel malty, yeasty fruity and mildly bitter, leafy, fruity and minimally floral hoppy, notes of dried fruit, raisin, plum, fig, date, some honey. Dissolved sugar enriched, watery texture, smooth and soft, silky palate, fine, soft, mildly prickly carbonation. Harmonious and homogeneous, maybe a tad too sweet - very nice.

1/3 pint, gravicask shared with Finn at GBBF Winter '23. Off-white bubbly head, clear amber-copper body, clingy lacing. Dried fruity flavours, inviting. Fine balanced taste of toffee and dried fruits with raisin to the fore. Dried fruity finish, well rounded. Likeable, a bit sweet in the long run though. (Burton upon Trent 16.02.2023).
