Nip is an extremely well balanced blend of flavours, sweetness and bitterness complimenting each other. A true barley wine that’s smooth and warming.

First introduced into our range in 1997, Nip is a classic barley wine. The definition of the Nip suggests that it is drunk in small quantities and frequently!

Gravity cask @ NWAF, Derby. Light chestnut brown. (I am slightly afraid of strong light brown beers as they often lead me astray.) No head. Smells of forest fruit and caramel. Sweet and syrupy with a bitter finish. A big ale from England’s tiniest county.
