Originated in England, over 400 years ago, this traditional British ale will be a real treat for everyone. This was everyman’s beer in its working class heyday. We are very excited to present this beer to our audience as there are very few commercial examples of this style in the United States today and you will definitely not find this on any grocery store shelves.
At first glance, this beer’s deep amber color might lead one to think this beer is similar in flavor to a Stout or Porter. Those beers tend to have notes of caramel, chocolate, or roasted coffee. However, when you take your first sip of this delightfully easy-drinking ale, you will be surprised to find that unlike other dark-colored beers, English Mild tends to exhibit a low-bitterness—almost sweet— malt character that is at once light enough for even the most timid of beer drinkers, but flavorful enough to please the most die hard beer fans. This beer has a wonderfully balanced mouth feel, with low Alcohol by Volume (ABV) and IBU ratings. It’s low ABV and high level of drinkability makes it the ultimate session beer!
Pair this beer with hearty dishes like roast pork or smoked sausage, aged Gouda cheese, or a sweet treat like almond cake or cashew brittle. Mmmm...

Draft at the bar inside Lukas Liqours in a suburb of StL. Light beer for sure but overly strong carbonation for lightnes of beer . Light, acceptable diacetyl. A light green hop at the end. Wet brown soppy bread flavir with an American cleanliness and body. Too American for how I like my milds.
