Panda at home, thanks to Graham Grumbo, 07/03/24. Black with a tan cap that thins to a swirl. Nose is dark malts, nutty, faint yeast backnotes, toffee, charr, little barrel offered on the nose. Taste comprises ripe fruit esters, molasses, dark malts, bourbon bite, spice, vanilla, chocolate, dates. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a good boost level offered. Decent BA affair if a little raw at times.

24/2/2024. Can from Left Field Beer. Pours close to black with a small creamy beige head. Aroma of roasted malts, chocolate, brown sugar, molasses, bourbon, wood, vanilla, dried fruits. Moderate sweetness, medium roasted bitterness, touch of woody tartness, tannic edge. Full bodied, smooth, light carbonation. Enjoyable.

Can from Appellation Wines. Pours black with a thin tan head. Aromas of dark chocolate, molasses, deep red wine, black cherry and vanilla. Taste adds light roast, sherry booziness. Complex and interesting.

Can from Appellation Wines. Appearance - black and opaque with a lovely tan to fawn head. Nose - brown sugar, raisins and dark chocolate. Taste - dark chocolate, Rum n raisin and prunes with hazelnut and toffee at the back. Palate - medium to full bodied, creamy middle. The finish is boozy with just an edge of roast. Overall - lovely stuff.
