From tap at Tap House, Kraków. Aroma is intense grindy coffee, big roast, mocha, dark malt, a layer of powdery cocoa on top of the creamy head of your cup of coffee. Flavour is surprisingly bitter and light sweet. Body is medium. Lovely rich coffee aroma, if this had been a bit fuller this could have been elite.

Bottle 33 cl. Extremely fizzy, a slow gusher. Pours an opaque black with a lively yet dissipating beige head. Super delicious aroma, just the right blend of coffee, chocolate, licorice and roast. Solid body, an unfortunate high carbonation, but the great Porter is still very much there. 230318

On tap at Haand Festival. It’s a dark brown beer with a lasting medium sized light tan head. Coffee, chocolate notes, roasted malts and a distinct sea touch in the aroma. Notes of dark sugar in the flavor, with coffee, some chocolate, roasted malts and a very unusual salty oyster-ish touch of sea water in a very pleasant way. It’s sweet, bitter, salty and full-bodied, with a pleasant carbonation level. Lasting finish. A very unusual porter, that’s for sure, but I really loved the salty, sea-ish flavor. 160528
