Jacobsen Yakima IPA brygges ved brug af fire forskellige moderne slags humle, der giver en langvarig bitter smag og en eksotisk og forfriskende aroma med tropiske accenter som grapefrugt og papaya.
Yakima IPA er især lækker, når den er parret med fede og / eller krydrede fødevarer. Indisk eller thailandsk køkken vil fungere godt, men selv moderne klassikere fra det amerikanske Brewpub-køkken bliver Yakima's bedste ven. Prøv det med bøffelvinger, hamburgere og krydrede pizzaer, og du vil være i humle himlen.

Draught, half pint. Tasted on the 12/05/2018 at «Vesterbro Ølhus», Copenhagen. Clear amber colour with a medium lasting white head. Aroma is caramel, sweet malts, slightly bread and some piney hops. Taste is the same with a sweet malts and caramel predominance and the piney hops on the background. Malty and sweet finish. Next one please!!

Bottle 75 cl. Pours a cloudy golden with a small, white head. Lightly citrusy nose, but it honestly is very subdued. Medium body, sweet fruitiness with a long, late bitterness. But all aromatic interplay is totally lost, and it mainly comes out as a bitter Pale Ale. 040718

Draught @ Ølfred, Aarhus Streetfood. Pours golden with an offwhite head. Aroma of malt, light caramel, fruity hops, little pine. Flavor is light sweet, malt, caramel, grass, fruity hops, light pine. Medium body, average carbonation, light bitter finish. 230618

Bottle. Pours hazy honey with large white head. Aroma is holy with bitter grapefruit, strawberry, spruce and hints is resin. Taste is medium sweet, light to medium bitter. Body is milky with medium carbonation. Finish is long and balanced sweet and bitter with floral and hopy notes

Bottle from Netto. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Yellow colour. MOderate malty and heavy hoppy aroma. Heavy bitter flavor. Long heavy bitter finish. Creamy palate. OK.

bottle from spar hazy yellow, smooth yellow head. nice mild us hoppy aroma, also notes of dough, both exotic fruits, pine and grapefruit in the aroma. flavor is exotic fruits, sweet malts, bittersweet flavor i think from hops and malts combined, fainter hay notes. a quite flavorful beer from jacobsen, and enough bitterness to not make it boring, but for my taste , it is too sweet, the bready notes combined with the exotic fruity note makes it too much like the bittersweet aroma you get if you mix apples and white bread in a bag for a while.

75 cl bottle, poured in to a Tulip. Hazy, golden amber colour with a fluffy off-white head. Fruity aroma with citrus fruits, floral hops, peaches and a slightly toasted note. Taste is bitter. Medium body with a creamy texture and an average carbonation. Finishes dry and bitter with citrus fruits and tropical impressions. Nice IPA from Carlsberg.

Draught @ Carlsberg museum. Poured unclear golden color with a thick white head. Looks great. Aroma has citrusy hops, floral notes, malts. Floral, hoppy citrusy flavor. Round mouthfeel.
